Group Maintenance Organisation (GMO)
The Thomas Cook Group Maintenance Organisation (GMO) works together across our three markets ensuring our customers travel with us safely and on time.
With more than 1,000 employees operating out of 192 locations with main bases in Manchester, Frankfurt, Berlin and Copenhagen, our technical experts are responsible for servicing the fleet according to the Airlines’ high quality standards and in compliance with the strictest official regulations.
Our GMO is directly involved in the growth and renewal of the Group Airlines fleet: Between 2013 and 2016, 25 brand new Airbus A321 have been integrated in the maintenance operation. In the first half of 2016, three further Boeing 767 for Condor and one A330 for UK joined the fleet.

The technical experts who work for GMO provide engineering oversight, structures and avionic management, engine management, hangar maintenance, line maintenance, supply chain & spares management, contract management for third party maintenances as well as maintenance control.
