Thomas Cook Group Airlines’ UK and Condor markets have reached new ground in duty free shopping with an innovation burst that has led to the concept of #Jump4DutyFree.
Airline thought leaders, Paul Grayson and CJ Alexis combined their creative energies to take the already popular pre-order duty free trial, Airshoppen, to the next level: giving customers the chance to receive their duty free goods (with savings of up to 25% off the High Street) delivered direct to their door – by simply being airbourne at the point of delivery.
Grayson, Head of Marketing for Thomas Cook Airlines UK and Condor, said: “This will be talked about for generations to come. It’s a real ‘POW!’ moment to have experienced a thought shower so heavy, that when the cloud breaks, there’s a blue sky that reveals such a simple but effective transformative idea. I’m exhausted and full of energy at the same time.”
