Thomas Cook Group Airlines is named the World’s Leading Charter Airline.

Last night, Thomas Cook Airlines was named the “World’s Leading Charter Airline” for the third year in a row at the World Travel Awards in Vietnam.

The 62nd award for Thomas Cook Group Airlines in just five years, the prestigious award was announced at a red-carpet ceremony at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay. Voted for by travel and tourism professionals and business and leisure travel consumers worldwide, the WTAs is globally recognised as the ultimate hallmark of quality and excellence.

Chief Group Airlines Officer, Christoph Debus, said; "What a proud moment. This award affirms our efforts over the past twelve months to keep our customers at heart of everything we do, from providing a world-class, modernised fleet and service to offering the very best leisure destinations around the world. Our employees have worked hard to achieve this recognition and I would like to thank each and every one of them for their efforts.

Thomas Cook Group Airlines incorporates Thomas Cook Airlines UK, Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Condor. In spring 2018 newly-founded sister airline, Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics will join the group in Palma de Majorca. The combined airline fleet consists of 92 aircraft and carries 16.7m passengers per year to more than 160 destinations.
